As a huge fan of sharing plates and a tapas style of eating. I fell in love with Ox and Finch when I visited Glasgow. I took my boyfriend to Glasgow for a surprise birthday trip. Glasgow is a very modern city and has a strong food and drink scene. It definitely did not disappoint with the big highlight being Ox and Finch.
Ox and Finch serve creative, contemporary tapas-style dishes. I would say their menu has a modern European influencer in a rustic setting. They use good quality ingredients to lead their dishes. My favourite dish is a tie between their Seared Scallops, Pork Belly, Salted Pineapple with Peanut Satay and the Cod Cheeks, Morcilla, Chorizo with tomatoes on Sourdough Bread. Both dishes were mouthwatering. I was also very impressed by their cocktails which is definitely something given I’m use to London’s high standards of cocktails.
