Comments

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

Contact forms

When a contact form is submitted, your email address, name & message are captured and kept for a certain period until the enquiry is concluded. The information provided is not used for marketing purposes.

Email Address and Name data is collected through the newsletter sign up.

We accept payments through PayPal. No payment info kept on website. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Who we share your data with

Your data shared with Mailchimp for marketing purposes. Mailchimp does not use the data. Please find Mailchimp’s policy here https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.

Hummingbird uses the Stackpath Content Delivery Network (CDN). Stackpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IPs, UA, referrer, Location and ISP info of site visitors for 7 days. How long we retain your data

Comments and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
