Naturally Gluten-Free & Vegan Baking Mixes

Superfood Bakery has been one of my most exciting recent discoveries. I am always on the hunt for healthy alternatives for the foods that I love. Superfood Bakery has a range of naturally gluten-free and vegan baking mixes. They use only organic ingredients and healthy, natural food. Yet, the bakes are still so tasty; they are lip-smackingly delicious.

The range includes cookie mixes such as my favourite protein chocolate cookies as well as an oat and cranberry cookies. There are breakfast boxes with a banana loaf, organic pancake and protein pancake mixes. Lastly, they have an organic chocolate cake, a lemon and poppy seed loaf and a brownie mix. I first discovered them on the shelves of Tesco’s. However, they are also available in Whole Foods, Morrisons, ASDA, Selfridges, Planet Organic, Ocado and Amazon. In addition, they have an online shop on their website.

What I like most about Superfood Bakery, isn’t just that they’ve made my favourite sweet treats healthy. But that all the boxes do not require too many additional ingredients and they are all super easy to make. Great if you want to bake with the family or if you have people coming over last minute. The mixes are fantastic for quickly cooking something fresh and tasty, while also filling the house with the incredible smells of freshly bakes cakes and cookies. The chocolate cookies only required me to add 50g of butter and some water. Once I mixed everything together, I then made cookie shapes with the mix on a baking tray. I then put them in the oven for 12-15minutes. The whole process took me about 20 minutes. I have their pancake mix to try so will update this blog post with my thoughts on the pancakes also.

Overall I highly recommend these guys, they are fantastic for me and fit into my foodie lifestyle perfectly. I can’t wait to try more of the range.
