The Kings Arms Tooley Street is one of my favourite pubs in London. Local to me, a lively gastropub in SE1, Bermondsey. Situated on a street corner, they have a locally-sourced menu of pub favourites including burgers, pizzas, ribs, wings and an excellent Sunday Roast. I particularly like the various offers on different days of the week. For example, they have wing Wednesday with 6 wings for £5, 12 wings for £9 or 18 wings for £12. They have rib Tuesdays with £12 for a full rack of ribs with chips and salad on a Tuesday.
The staff are incredibly friendly, and they have great beers on tap. A mixture of classic beer brands and locally sourced craft beers as well as wines and ciders. They have screens for watching sports and board games to play (before the regulations from COVID-19). The decor is really quirky with lots of plants, a collection of various different chairs and tables as well are lots of lovely wall hangings and trinkets around the pub.
The pub is dog friendly and being on the street corner, there is outside seating wrapping around the pub.
I particularly rate their Sunday Roast, but overall I love this pub. It encompasses the best of the Great British pub.
