Urban baristas are Aussie style cafes dotted around London, serving amazing quality coffee and brunch. I usually go to the Queensway location in West London as it is next door to Barry’s Bootcamp Gym and close to where my boyfriend goes to get his hair cut. Given we live in South East London, we make a trip of it when we go to West London. Urban Baristas is our favourite for brunch. They also have locations in Wapping, Bounds Green and St Katherine’s Docks.
The space is very trendy and a design-led modern environment, very relaxing post-workout. The brunch The space is very trendy and a design-led modern environment, very relaxing post-workout. The brunch menu offers a selection of sweet and savoury dishes, healthy and indulgent. The healthy dishes are all satisfying, tasty and very feel good. One of my favourites is the Bondi Brekky Bowl. The bowl comes with; spinach, avocado, hummus, quinoa, smoked salmon, a poached egg, feta cheese, ginger and a lime dressing. The bowl is fresh tasting and really filling, full of so much goodness! They also offer all the brunch classics, such as pancakes and sourdough toast, for example. The counter is covered in lots of bakery treats such as pastel de Natas, muffins and energy balls. The energy balls are particularly great before a gym workout. I highly recommend the courgette bread, something I’ve not seen anywhere but at Urban Baristas but really tasty.
Overall, I highly recommend Urban Baristas. They are perfect for a weekend brunch, a pre-gym coffee, or catching up with a friend over coffee/tea and cake.
